Providing affordable and good housing is something we do together. With residents and our partners, in and around the home. They are our stakeholders; they have an interest in our efforts. We involve our stakeholders in our policy and want to know what they expect from Woonpartners. Together, we can examine what is going on and what lives there and adjust our services accordingly.

Renters

As a partner in the neighbourhood, we give residents an active(er) role. For our plans, we first ask for their ideas, wishes and satisfaction. We cooperate a lot with the Tenants' Interest Association (HBV) Woonpartners, which represents the interests of our tenants. With more than 25 representative resident committees, we consult regularly on maintenance and management measures and livability issues. We also work together with active working groups and individual residents who occasionally get involved (on a theme) in their neighbourhood or district. Do you have any ideas of your own? Organisations in the neighbourhoods

We work with housing associations, welfare and care organisations in the region to develop activities together in the areas of housing, care and welfare.

Municipality

In the municipality of Helmond, we contribute to a safe and pleasant living environment and liveable neighbourhoods. We do this together with fellow corporations, the municipality and representatives of the tenants in Helmond. With them, we make municipal performance agreements on availability, affordability, sustainability, inclusiveness and organisation and cooperation.

In June 2022, industry association Aedes, the Woonbond, VNG and the State signed the National Performance Agreements. The municipality, housing associations and tenant representatives in Helmond have incorporated the National Performance Agreements into their own performance agreements.
