Camera surveillance
Camera surveillance
Camera surveillance is available in some Woonpartners residential buildings. You may also wish to hang a camera yourself. You can read more about this on this page.
May Woonpartners hang cameras in my residential building?
Woonpartners is not allowed to hang cameras just like that. There must be a "legitimate interest". Examples of this are:
- increasing safety;
- counteracting or limiting nuisance;
- counteracting or limiting burglary or vandalism;
- counteracting or limiting vandalism.
Where are the cameras allowed to hang in my residential building?
The cameras are hung in visible places in the general areas of the residential building, in the places where there are problems. We use signs and stickers to let you know that there are cameras. The camera system is physically and digitally secured.
When will the camera images be viewed?
The camera images are only reviewed in case of emergencies, burglary, vandalism, vandalism, nuisance or at the request of the police.
How long are the camera images kept?
The camera images are kept for 7 days and then automatically deleted. Is there a criminal offence to be seen? Then we keep the images longer and they can be used as evidence in an investigation or criminal proceedings.
May I hang a camera myself?
The main rule is that your camera may only film your own property. So you are not allowed to film other people's property, such as your neighbour's house or garden. Nor may you film the public road, such as the pavement or parking spaces.
How do you request camera images?
If you want to request camera images, you can submit a written request by filling in the Intake Form AVG Rights, which can be found on this page. In your request, clearly indicate the reason for your request and the specific date and time of the images you want. Please note that we are careful about privacy laws and can only comply with justified requests.
