Under the slogan "Helmond-Oost, moving forward together!", Woonpartners, the Municipality of Helmond and Wijkraad Helmond Oost are going to raise the profile of the East district over the next 15 years. To this end, the parties signed an agreement.

During this fifteen-year period, the district will be tackled on many fronts. A total of 500 to 600 new homes will be added at various locations, mainly in the form of high-rise buildings on Deurneseweg.
