Appropriate allocation
Appropriate allocation
Since 1 January 2016, the Passive Allocation Act has been in force for social housing. With Appropriate Allocation, the government wants to prevent people with the lowest incomes from living in homes that are too expensive. On the other hand, higher-income households can no longer apply for the cheap houses. This keeps the cheap houses available for the low-income.
Your income, age and household size determine which houses you qualify for. This means we have to test your income. More information on Appropriate Allocation can be found here.
