In December 2022, construction company Huybregts Relou started the exterior works and the interior works started at the end of January 2023. In autumn 2023, the renovation, aimed at making the homes more sustainable and gas-free, was completed. 

The roofs, facades and floors have been insulated and the boilers have been replaced with infrared radiant panels. The homes have also been fitted with solar panels. In the houses, bathrooms, kitchens and toilets have been renewed. Chainable's circular kitchen was used for the kitchen. The interventions have reduced energy consumption and increased residents' living enjoyment. To complete the project, the front gardens of Margrietlaan and Hortensialaan will be refurbished. Of Margrietlaan, the back gardens will also be addressed.
