In the first quarter of 2023, work will start at the 288 Neducoflats in Helmond-Oost. Woonpartners wants to prepare the flats for the future. This means removing the gas connection in the flats and switching to electric cooking. In addition, the collective water meter will be replaced by an individual water meter per dwelling. This will allow residents to monitor their own water consumption and pay only for the water that is actually consumed.

Sustainability is important to Woonpartners. That's why we use materials with a long lifespan and materials that can be reused as much as possible. We are renovating the bathrooms and toilets using recyclable wall and floor panels. We are replacing the kitchens with circular kitchens.

On Tuesday 18 July (see photos below), summer was ushered in with the residents of Van Riebeeckstraat and Tasmanstraat. At the homes in these flats, the renovation of the bathroom, kitchen and toilet was completed before the summer holidays. These flats were also made completely gas-free and the water supply was changed from collective to individual.
