A total of 66 new homes are being built at four locations. These are 35 flats and studios on Winkelplein (side Heistraat/Advocaat Botsstraat), 20 flats on Weverspark, nine single-family houses on Heistraat and two single-family houses on Wolfstraat. The last project will be completed in 2025.

To realise the new building, the houses on Heistraat 17-25 and Wolfstraat 107 were demolished in 2023. Nine single-family houses on Heistraat and two houses on Wolfstraat will soon be built on this site.

The company New Horizon carried out the demolition work. This is a company that specialises in circular demolition. They first removed the asbestos-containing materials. Then they stripped the houses. That is, reusable materials are removed. Several parts can be reused 1 to 1 and get a second life, other parts contribute in a recycling process to the creation of 'new' similar (building) materials.

Construction of the 35 rental flats at Heistraat 71 to 79 (Pleinblok), 20 flats at Advocaat Botsplein 24 (Parkblok) and 11 houses at Heistraat 13 to 25 and Wolfstraat 105/107 will start in April 2024. These new buildings will be in the last empty spaces in Helmond's Inner City East. The Advocaat Botsplein will be set up as a construction site. Parking is not possible here during construction. Construction is expected to take 1.5 years. After completion, the paving on Advocaat Botsplein will be repaired and parking will be possible here again.
